Professional Experience: Mr. Presley started his career in education with the Pilot Rock School District, where he served as a Middle School Math Teacher for 3 years, Athletic Director for 4 years, and Secondary Principal (Grades 6-12) for 2 years. During the 2018-2019 school year, Mr. Presley was named 2020 Oregon Regional Teacher of the Year by the Oregon Department of Education. During the 2022-2023 school year, Mr. Presley assumed the role as Assistant Principal at Sherwood Heights Elementary School, where he served for 2 years. The 2024-2025 school year will be his first year serving as Principal at Sherwood Heights Elementary School.

Education: Mr. Presley earned a B.S. in Business from Western Oregon University in 2007 and was also a member of the baseball team. In 2017, he earned an M.A. in Teaching from Eastern Oregon University, while also obtaining Elementary (Multiple Subjects) and Foundational Mathematics endorsements. Mr. Presley has a Professional Administrator License from the University of Oregon and is currently working towards an Ed.S. in Educational Leadership from the University of Oregon.

Personal Information: Mr. Presley and his wife, Lindsey, reside in Pendleton with their three boys – Benson, Calder, and Crew. He enjoys spending time and traveling with his family. In his free time, he likes to hunt, fish, and enjoy the outdoors. Mr. Presley coaches several youth sports in Pendleton, including football and baseball.
