As the Pendleton School District, students and families prepare for the end of the 21-22 school year; there may be reasons for you to have conversations with your child’s teacher, school principal, or counselor about progress this year, plans for next school year or concerns or challenges facing your child in the classroom and beyond.
The Pendleton Outdoor School Program (ODS) and Intermountain Education Service District (IMESD) are preparing to celebrate more than five decades of teaching 6th grade students in the wilderness of the Umatilla National Forest.

After compiling the results of the recent Superintendent Survey and holding focus group sessions in January, the Pendleton School Board and the superintendent search company are moving on to next steps in the process.
January is a month in which we recognize the valuable role and work that our school board plays in the lives of our students and families. Please join us in giving thanks to each board member who leads and supports our school district on behalf of our community.
Lynn Lieuallen, Position 2
Lynn Lieuallen (8th on Board) has enjoyed getting to know the district’s administration and staff as well as her fellow board members as “we work collaboratively to help make PSD the best it can be for every student.”
Lieuallen said the School Board is currently working on their most important contribution to the district, which is finding the next Superintendent. “The goal is to find our next great leader to continue doing the work necessary to provide every student with an excellent education in order for them to have a successful future.”
