Each day school leaders of both public schools and universities receive updates from the Oregon Health Authority and the Oregon Department of Education.
Due to Parent-Teacher conferences tomorrow, Friday, March 6th, there is NO SCHOOL for students.
In light of the outbreak and concern over the COVID-19, I have been struggling with stories that students and/or adults may be stigmatizing other members of our community.
Any and all students who are healthy and not showing any symptoms of fever, coughing, pain when breathing or other universal signs of illness SHOULD ATTEND for continuity of their education.
As we continue to work our way through the Coronavirus/COVID-19 situation, I encourage all parents to read the attached information provided for families by the Oregon Health Authority.
