Since yesterday afternoon’s announcement of Governor Kate Brown’s Executive Order 20-08, our administrative team has been working to upgrade our plan to support you and your families.  Building principals are working with their teachers over the next 48 hours to produce learning activities for your children for the next five weeks.  More details will be forthcoming in the next few days.  Highlights of the plan include:

• Elementary packets will be available online with hard copies available at the District office located at 107 NW 10^th Street.  Each week new activities in reading and math will be provided as well as other fun enrichment activities.
• Elementary packets will be available at the CTUIR Education Department.
• The District Office will be open next week for parents to pick up materials from 7 am to 1 pm.
• Meals will continue to be provided next week and as long as schools are closed under the executive order from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm at the PELC, Washington Elementary, and the Recreation Center at CTUIR.
• Parents can check-out Chromebooks from the District Office beginning next week from 7 am to 1 pm for students to use at home to access online learning opportunities.

Desde el anuncio de ayer por la tarde de la Orden Ejecutiva 20-08 de la Gobernadora Kate Brown, nuestro equipo administrativo ha estado trabajando para actualizar nuestro plan para apoyarlo a usted y a sus familias. Los directores de las escuelas están trabajando con sus maestros durante las próximas 48 horas para producir actividades de aprendizaje para sus hijos durante las próximas cinco semanas. Se darán más detalles en los próximos días. Los puntos destacados del plan incluyen:

• Los paquetes elementales estarán disponibles en línea con copias impresas disponibles en la oficina del Distrito ubicada en 107 NW 10th Street. Cada semana se proporcionarán nuevas actividades de lectura y matemáticas, así como otras actividades divertidas de enriquecimiento.
• Los paquetes elementales estarán disponibles en el Departamento de Educación de CTUIR.
